Ciao,
For twenty seven years we lived, raised a family, enjoyed many wonderful moments, and consumed much wine in Montclair, NJ.
We've moved, to a new home in Garrison, NY, we call it Casa Gialla, Yellow House.

Montclair is a wonderful town near New York City, we lived on a street called Riverview Drive, but there is no river view and I have always longed for a home by the water and so we found one.
On the banks of the Hudson River in the historic district called Garrison’s Landing, we found our new home. We call it “Casa Gialla” (Yellow House). A secluded precious place where life will be very different.
Moving from a home of almost three decades is a tremendous job, leaving little time for writing. We are almost done, by the end of February we will say goodbye to our old “Not a River View” for good.
Being a stone’s throw from a mighty river like the Hudson presents a constant metaphor of life. The river has a long and rich history, good times and bad. It flows, always moving, every moment changing presenting beautiful sites. Boats, birds, glistening light, and the luscious energy in the water flows.
It is a very exciting time. Coming here in the thick of winter is a true new beginning, the anticipation of spring and all the wonderful growth it brings is so inspiring.
The Hudson Valley, the greater area where we live, is in an incredible resurgence. Crafters, Farmers, Wine Makers, Distillers, Cooks, and Artists of every kind abound. We are so excited to be a part of the vibrant community here.
So with this new life Mano a Vino (Hand to Wine) is taking a turn. It will remain a rich resource for tips on how to discover, learn, pair and enjoy great wines. Beginning today it will turn to focus on life in the Hudson Valley and all its goodness. Of course wine will be a focal point and we will share much more.
We hope you join and follow us for this new journey.
