There are so many wonderful Champagnes, but most you find in wine stores are non-vintage, meaning that for consistency they are made with juice of more that one year. Seek out vintage champagnes especially one like this, you will be delighted.
For two centuries, since 1811 to be exact, Champagne house Perrier-Jouët in the Epernay region of France has zealously created extraordinary wine. In the late 19th century they adopted their signature Art Nouveau branding which has lasted into the future.
2007 was a challenging vintage in France with unusual weather patterns, a growing season one noted Champagne maker called “very emotional.”
Yet this wine which Hervé Deschamps, Cellar Master, Perrier-Jouët describes as..
“the new expression of a vintage champagne reserved to taste exclusively in spring. An ephemeral cuvée as an ode to the beauty of nature, so dear to the House.” is extraordinarily delicious.
Enjoyed by all. A bevy of fashionable New York bloggers.
