We have always loved the Art de Vivre - Art of Living - programs held in the fabulous Skyroom at French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) in New York City.
A gem of the New York, well the North American, cultural scene FIAF is ardently purposeful in their presentation of all things beautifully French throughout the year.
Of course we love the wine events most of all and the incredible Bastille Day celebrations. This years wine events are exceptional.
Starting with Bordeaux Smackdown: 2009 vs. 2010 Vintages
Thursday, May 1 at 7pm – Yes as of this writing there were a few tickets left.
With Hortense Bernard and Louis Kressmann. Moderated by Lawrence Marcus.
These years have been two of the most important vintages in Bordeaux in decades. The tasting is bound to be exceptional.

On Thursday, May 15 at 7pm is The Secrets to Drinking Top French Wine in NY withnoted New York Sommeliers Pascaline Lepeltier, John Ragan and Bernard Sun. Moderated by Food and Wine executive wine editor Ray Isle.
