One could easily argue, and win the debate, that no one does wine like French winemakers. And in NY no one does French wine events like the French Institute Alliance Française.
We have attended several and are very excited about their spring 2013 event. More Info and Tickets Here
Pascaline Lepeltier, Wine Director at Rouge Tomate, the first tasting on April 29 explores the undiscovered gems of France’s Southwest.
On May 20, Patrick Cappiello, Wine Director of the New York Palace and three-time winner of Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award,” will help demystify Burgundy a region known for the complexity of its vintages, vinified from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties.
And on June 10th, FIAF’s Wine Tour de France ends on a bubbly note with the world’s finest sparkling wine, the brands of which bear the exclusive distinction of the Champagne title. Dustin Wilson, Wine Director at New York’s celebrated Eleven Madison Park, will lead this tasting of champagnes from France’s most famous appellation, renowned for their association with the anointment of kings.
