After the second visit last Friday, I can say that the grilled fish was impeccably fresh and delicious, as was my wife's mixed grilled seafood appetizer that was large enough to be an entree. And judging by the still packed dining room at 9pm, I would recommend reservations on the weekend.

Actually, it is the southeast corner of Bloomfield and Gates Avenue, directly across from Lackawanna Plaza.We were charmed by our first visit (second visit tomorrow evening), and I'm very much hoping this place is a big hit, given that we live only two blocks away. Ample parking is available in back of the restaurant

Also, the food column in this week's Montclair Times details the writer's trip to Greek Taverna -- a big thumbs up. She notes that one of the chefs is actually from Molyvos.

Our experience there (wonderful eggplant dip, first rate grilled calamari, abundant and fresh horiatiki salad)exceeded our expectations. The whole fish looked impeccably fresh. The service is beyond warm, and although we weren't ravenous, I'm sure we'll be sampling the desserts, all made on site.

I agree with you.
No good Greek food this side of the Hudson, and no good Lebanese food either.
I love Molyvos in the city, and will definitely try Taverna or Stamma, had no idea they existed.
