"To say that co owner/winemaker Hector Durigutti is a rock star in the red-hot Argentian wine scene is an understatement. Since Altos Las Hormigas when he worked with Italian star wine maker Alberto Antonini, Hector has been the go to guy and master when it comes to the Malbec grape.
He was one of the original, founding partners and the winery’s first wine maker during their early success and launch in the U.S.
Besides his own label which he makes with brother Paolo he continues to make and consultant for a few other boutique wines in Mendoza including two of the cult-favorites malbecs from Mendoza - Martino Vina Violeta Malbec and Renacer
Pablo Durigutti, gained experience at Rutini in Mendoza and became responsible for all winemaking decisions at the property. He continues to consult and make wines for several producers including the minuscule Alberti 154." Zimbio
