Sybille Kuntz and Markus Kuntz-Riedlin of the Mosel region in Germany are leading a Riesling renaissance. The husband and wife team both came from winemaking families. Their Sybille Kuntz Estate is less than 20 years old. In that time their dry and refined wines and stylish modern image have already made a splash on the international wine scene.
Sybil Kuntz produces great wines that go very well with Asian food. We've tried her Riesling Gold Quadrat Trocken and Riesling Dreisdern Spatlese.
Please don't ask me to translate just give them a try.

Yes, Risling, especially an aged Riesling is perfect with spicy asian food. Tasted recently the Urgesteinsriesling 2007 (Riesling from the rock) from Harm Estate in Wachau region, Austria. High minerality, a little aged with flavors of fine peaces. This Riesling combined with a spicy and little hot thai menue. Yum yum!
